London Selection

Happy Birthday Royal!
Good luck to all from London, Henley, Chatham and Portsmouth that are undertaking selection this weekend.
Still think we need some more RMR (potential recruit) bods on here sometimes, I think there is only 3 or 4 of us?

Make that 4 or 5 mate, i plan to start the selection process within 1year or when I think im ready, only started training 2months ago, im gonna get UCAS 300pts at least (I hope
), Join as a Recruit and if im lucky as a Officer cadet a couple of years later.

Good lad, welcome aboard!
I take it you'll be going to the RMR at Bermondsey? It takes a bit of time to get through the admin ect. You can join holding troop at any stage though to get your phys up. It’s progressive and does the trick. Next selection is in July, should give you plenty of time.

Bermondsey? RMR London is my nearest detachment. I wanted to get into Holding Troop aroud the summer/autumn and go for October selection. I want to get all my exam results behind me and get settled into university before going for selection

I will also be going for Oct 2007 Selection. Unless they have one sooner, but due to injury that might still be doubtful.
Can't wait to get stuck back in. See you fellas at London some time

July 2007 is the next one, I don't think there will be one in october next year, probably a bit later, that's just speculation though.

Good to see there is a few of us on here! Borisimo is right, the next London intake is in July with one following Feb/March time.
I met up with the guys yesterday when they were all done. I think pretty much all of the Londons guys got in, two failed unfortunately
Well done to those starting training soon and better luck next time to those who didn't make it this time round.

Next Selection in July?
I had comms with Chatham Det about a Month ago and they told me next Selection would probably be Oct 2007. They weren't 100% sure though.
How certain are you all on that July date? It would be fantastic if that was the case. I was gutted when I heard I'd have to wait a year!!!

100% dude, otherwise the Phase 1 training that has just started is lasting 12 months, when usually it is done in 6/7. July is the magic month and looking forward to it!
