To pass which is to get 2.4km in lower than 10:45, you would have to run it at no slower than 14.2 i think, although some people like to push it, and run it in 9minutes and so on. As far as i am concerned i do not know if you get extra beasting or have to achieve more at PRMC depending on your PJFT time, because in the end a pass is a pass right.
Remember they are not expecting superman to get off that train at CTCRM, they do want you to give it 100% and then some though.
Get that pass mate, and maybe i'll see you at CTCRM one day, thats if i pass PRMC

just set it at 14.2 and once you can do that for 2.4km then put it up to 13 so you push yourself to improve. I really wouldnt get to worried about PJFT though, if you get yourself a basic level of fitness you'll sail through it!

14.2 i take it that is km/h. my running machine only goes up to 10 which i persume is mph. what would i need to set that at for the equivalant?

Divide 14.2 by 1.6 should give you the speed in miles I think.

14.2 kilometers = 8.8 miles
set it to 9

Speed = Distance / Time
= 2.4 / (10.75/60)
= 13.4 km/h
You still have to go a tad faster to allow for the treadmill getting up to speed though.

Cool, I was worried about the PJFT.
Im not the best runner. but I think I should be able to manage 15km hour + for 8-9 mins with hard training by the end of nov.
