Hi guys,

Im having a major problem with running. Ever since i remeber tryin to jog since i was in teens my feet and ankle just hurt like hell. It happens very soon into my run n goes away a few minutes after i stop. So recently I showed to a doc and he said it was cos my feet pronates (rolling too much). And I got custom orthetic for my shoes. But im still having the problem.

Does any of you know about this and how to get over this. Its so bad that I am able to run only like for 8mins. Im pretty frustrated..any help would be welcome. I have tried a run/walk cycle thing where you run 3min and walk 3min and then repeat it for 4 times but it doesnt work either.

Go see a private physio, you can get a session for 20-35 quid at max and they are usually good with those sort of problems.

Thats good advice and if I were you i would also go and buy some proper running shoes from a running shop as they have different types of shoes based on the way you run. I.e. different amount of cushioning and stability.

Granted once you are in im sure you wont be able to use 'special shoes' but cant hurt whilst training.
