How far do you guys run when training?

Only been training just over a month, but just wanted to know how far others run in the build up to prmc and beyond.
At the moment I run 6 days a week (3 days, day off, 3 days), and do a mixture of 1.5 mile, 3 mile & 5-6 mile all with a warm up jog of 0.5 - 1.0 mile, and a warm down of the same.
My times are coming down nicely, but just want other opinions on the distances.

I was running 3 x 6 milers per week at 41mins. When I added football training twice per week I picked up a nasty runners knee injury which made me cancel my PRMC and left me out of cardio for 5 weeks.
I have now decided to stick to 2 x 3 milers per week (I may do a cheeky 5 miler now and again) and football training once or twice, I cannot risk injury anymore. I know my running performance is scalable so I don't need to run silly long distances all the time, it will only cost cartledge and tendons!. The PRMC will only demand a 3 miler on the day so as long as I can do 2 of those each week in about 21 mins or less I reckon I will be fine. the football will probably help me more than the long runs did.
Your varied distance sessions are probably a good idea, but I would not run everyday like you do, you don't realise how much energy a fast long distance run takes from you.
I can't talk from a post PRMC point of view, only from a post injury point of view

Thats a valid point, but if I can cope with the running no problem, and have plenty in reserve, then at least its one less thing to stress about.
I come from a mountaineering background, so the 30miler is one thing im looking foward to!
