Deepcut

Complete put-off to anyone who would think about joining, whilst the purpose of a soldier is to die, I didn't think it was his purpose to be murdered by his superior officer.

If you're going to wind us up at least make it a good one, or if you want a debate then put some meat on it...

To me, Deepcut's biggest issue was around leadership not unhelpful adrogyne statemenets like this <doh>.

I have to admit, when I saw that the AAC do some of their training (albeit for a trade that I have no interest in taking up) at deepcut I did have a slight "errr" moment.

That said though, a year round various training centers (not including Deepcut though), and I never had any trouble at all.

Admittedly deepcut is a public relations disaster for the Army, and the investigations into it, even moreso, but you have to bear in mind that that sorta thing is extremely rare.
