Can someone confirm what level you have to achive for the VO2 test on PRMC ?
The Sticky says 10, green bible says 11 and have read elsewhere that it is 12.
Also what is the average on the PRMC ?
Downloaded a copy of the test so i plan to achieve 12+ on the day with plenty of practice but confirmation would be greatly appreciated.

No idea about PRMC but for POC it's 11. That said, aim for about 12/13. I got 11.8, and I REALLY struggled through the rest of the course. Could do the distance, but my lungs weren't up to the speed.

I thought it was 11.5 but 11 sounds as though it could be right. And if it says that in the bible - then im guessing that it is!! It aint called the bible for nothing!!!

Yeh practice and you will crack it, same as anything.

My POC was in april (I failed) :(
The MINIMUM level required on the RMFA beep test , in order to stay the remaining three days, was 11.2.
I achieved 11.4 and I was absolutely fashed!
For my PRMC I aim to achieve at least 11.5, thats my minimum benchmark that I will not allow myself to drop below.
Obviously the key is to practise it, and dig out on the day.

Hope someone has the current facts for PRMC though. Anyone whos done PRMC??

On my one we had lads dropping out in the 10's and they still passed PRMC. I think it depends what score you got on the physco-semetric test though....ie if you did well, its a lower score required.

if you want to get the correct RMFA score of 18, we were told by the PTI on our aquaint day that you have to get 42 press-ups, 52 sit-ups, 4 pull-ups and 11.6 on the bleep test (i dont know about the assault course time as obviously we couldn't do it), although if you don't quite meet the standards on one exercise you can make up for it on something else.

The bleep test is universal, I think there's one for 20m shuttles and a shorter one (I'm assuming it's the 20m you will do on the PRMC as this is the more common).
Type in bleep test on google and you will get loads of hits.

Sorry, should have been clearer. 11 is the minimum level you achieve. So you should actually be dropping out at 11.2 (achieving 11 then failing to get to 11.1 and 11.2).

So if you set aside the official minimum scores of 20, 30, 3 ect.....the scores you said above are the scores you need for a realistic pass on prmc?

yes well so we were told, although i'm pretty sure i have seen people on the forum pass with much lower scores than these, but they do tell you that minimum scores are there as a guideline only and everyone should be aiming for maximum scores, i can do 7 pull-ups and 86 press-ups but only 44 pull-ups, i don't know why i struggle with these

Lads, seriously don't worry about scores and pass marks for the PRMC, just train as hard as you can, and when you get down there just put 200% into every test and forget about assessing yourself leave that to the training team, they know exactly what their looking for. At the end of the day if you put 200% in and you fail (which would be very unlikely), you know you need to train harder next time, and if you fail, but you know you could have done better, you should be considering a different career, because you obviously havent got the drive and determination they are looking for.

I found this link for a bleep test.

http://www.defence.gov.au/army/hq8bde/jobs/fitness.htm

It's on the australian army website and it doesn't mention which bleep test it is but it's done over 20m.

What do you guys think? Is this the VO2 or should I keep looking?
