I dont know what channel it was on. But I think that it was early ninetees. So its about 10 years old. Although seeing as the training is well known for having remained virtual unchanged since WWII then it should all still be relevent, just a few more mullet style hair cuts knockin around lol.

No worries guys. I often try and keep an eye out for these sorts of things so if i ever come across anything interesting I will be sure to let you know!!
Any of you received your video yet? Maybe write up what your thoughts were - ive seen it and i have to admit that I was a little suprised at the way they were pushing people through hunter troop just to get the numbers up for the pass out parade. And i think that 'Jaftha' guy probably should have been failed (as did the training team), although having said that he had been through a lot (breaking his leg on assault course etc) and he hung in there so credit where its due!! On the whole it was a good insight to way things are down at CTC, i liked the 'bond' they all seemed to have made with their PTI's etc after the weeks of training.
Just wish i new where to get a hold of the others!!

That Jaftha bloke is in a book I read about the marines. Think it was by Hugh McManners and was called Commando: Winning the Green Beret

. Didnt realise the series that I am getting was based on that book. I thought that Jaftha was a bit of an inspiration for me, braking his leg on the chasm jump and then coming back from it.
