Being kicked out of my house!

I had a little argument with my parents and they over reacted. Now they want me out of the house fairly soon. So I gotta get a move on with my fittness otherwise my only other real option is the army

. Anyway, I found my motivation is running out and I was wondering what gave you guys the motivation to continue?

well i think the fact that you are getting kicked out the house would pretty much do it for me....don't you want to get away from all that nonsense?

If your motivation is running out you carn't really want it that bad. Don't get me wrong i have days when i carn't be arsed but i just get out there and do what i got to do. If your looking for motivation though how about looking at the homeless people in your town centre expecially when it lunch time, im sure your motivation will soon come back

yes i agree, whenever you cant be arsed just think to the future and think of the lifestyle you could have if you put in the effort now
success doesn't come easy but if you want something bad enough you will get it

I used to get kicked out on a regular basis. It became quite amusing after a while becasue i was neever a bad kid. Very neat and tidy, quiet and polite. Was quite surreal, mother would come storming in demand i got out and i'd spend the next few months at my grandparents. Rarely was i given an explaination apart from "I'm sick of your face". Which is a lovely thing to tell an 8 year old. Still makes me laugh to this day.
The good thing about living like that was it taught me to pack up and move very quickly and lay down plans for cash / food / accomodation at very short notice. Treat this as a learnng experience and turn it to your advantage.

How can I put this, no offence...but parents who kick their children out need stabbing in the face.

Wont get any arguement from me here mate. But there are two ways to deal with situations like that:
1) Let it f*ck you up and end up a complete waste of skin
2) Learn from it, grow as a person and dont pass it on to your own kids.
I suppose it shows in my attitude, you can insult me all day long, push me about and it wouldn't even register with me. Wouldn't give a crap. Probably punch your lights out on
principle but it wouldn't have upset me at all.

Getting kicked out is my motivation, thats the only reason ive done my interview, medical etc otherwise I would still be no-where.
When theyve cooled down explain to them you will be out when youve passed prmc and are on to recruit training and they wont have to see your ugly mug no more.

Couple things.
First you have some serious thinking and soul searching to do. And only you are going to do it. No one else.
If you just got given notice by your parents that you should go off on your own, do you believe it realistic to trade homelife for military life without some kind of life experience to help you cope?
Finally, something I was told way back: you can find simpathy in the dictionary, between sh*t and syphillis. Do what you gotta do, but in the end it's all up to you.
