after a month of waiting to hear my medical results.. i got a phone call today telling me i had failed.
i had astma years ago, and its come back to haunt me. i have never sufferd from it seriously, and never used an inhaler in the last 3 years.
but i have been told i cant do nothing now until november 2007
i am really gutterd, i had everything set on becoming a marine, and now i have a huge wait. I dont know what am going to do.

sorry to hear that
i know its no consolation but at least you get even more time to become fitter and stronger if you work hard enough, to give you the best possible chance at passing PRMC and recruit training.

I have my medical in 2 weeks. I'm hoping he doesn't notice the skin condition on my hands...

Sorry to hear bout your medical results Danny, I'm gutted for you mate. If thats the only thing you failed on though, at least you know the chances of you getting through you medical next time are high.

That's a really good point. You've got so much time and you can get so incredibly fit. Have you thought about joining a running club? You'll be trained and you'll get to enter races which will give you something to keep your mind occupied.
Yes it's a very long time but you're giving yourself the best possible chance of passing prmc, and dare I say it, maybe even finding it slightly easy (if you train hard enough).
Do these guys train anywhere near where you live?

mate thats unlucky but atleast you can have lots of time to train and if youre still up for the marines in 2007 then you know its definatly for you and im sure you will have a good chance of passing.
