I dont believe it, the staff at your AFCO must be really efficient. I started my application at the start of november and did all my test about 2 weeks before you did all of yours and my PRMC is not until April 3rd. Lucky bugger!

I handed my application in on the 2 November, and twice have had to cancel visits to my AFCO, But Luke and I did our Recruit tests on the same day 7 December i think! He did his medical and PJFT 2 days before me and we asked for the same PRMC date.

I did my recruit test on the 21st November, I then had my interview in mid december and then my medical and PJFT in the 2nd and 3rd weeks of Jan respectively. As I understand it the AFCO have to 'bid' for your place on a PRMC, so they told me. They must have just took there time bidding on mine i guess.

Well ive been into training and spports since ive been a wee nipper and have always been a member of sports or athletics clubs. I started training specifically for RM in about Aug last year. I can do 67 press-ups in 2 mins and max out at 82, 72 sit ups in 2mins 15 pull-ups and 3miler in 17:38.

Every day i do a routine of press-ups (3x60), sit-ups(3x75) and pull-ups(2x10)in the morning, then in the afternoon i usually do some weight circuits and/or running. The running varies from 3-9miles depending on the weight circuits i have done, but i try to make evening exercise including a good warm up and down last 90mins.

Also fitting in 2 days rest a week on which i go swimming for 30mins on each

i just go to the gym most days and do lots of press ups and upper body work. My stamina is fine though. Luke

I got my PRMC dates the other day.... March 5 - 8.

Sod's law really, but i suppose i'll be heading home, covered in bruises and completely knackered, about the same time you're arriving full of energy and confidence.

Can someone please explain to me, this is a really stupid question but PRMC...is it 3 Days or 4 days (in total...you arrive on day one, then day 2 is 3miler etc, day 3 is gym test 2 etc, 4 fitness brief and leave?)

So there for my PRMC starts Wed. 8 March I wont be back till saturday.?.? is that right...?

As for training Since my interview I train 2 times a day at least 3 times a week, most of the time its more though. I Road run in evenings and saturdays I have Rugby matches Sundays is my only day off and even then i do upper body, if im not to stiff from Rugby then ill go for a 20 min run.
All that with loads of upper body work inbetween.

EG: yesterday morning i ran 3 miles upperbody work, etc.
got home from work and ran another 3 miles with upperbody work again.

Luke mate im just emailing you mate about the bleep test!
