Ok i'm back in Tenerife after my little trip to 'sunny Torquay'.
Just a funny story to tell you of the trip.

Driving down to Torquay I decided to nip in to CTC cash
clothing to buy a Green Beret and staybright cap badge ready
for the RBL parade on the sunday.
In I go to cash clothing to be met by either a PO or Chief Wren.
'What do you want ' says Jenny, 'Id like to buy a green beret and
badge ' say I.
'Are you still serving or RMA' she drolls.
'No finnished now,but need the lid for a parade on sunday with RBL'.
'Have you got ID and a cheque book' barks my newfound naval friend.
'No', I say' i'll pay cash'.
'Havn't taken cash for more than ten years ' my now standing, arms on
counter shopkeeper tells me.
Just then a fellow sitting at the back of the store stands up and says
in a lilting welsh accent 'Hello Ron boyo havn't seen you for years'.
What you up to'.It was Taff Lloyd who was a lance corporal on my training
team 29yrs ago.'What you after ? a beret ? What size are you as he
tosses a few for me to try.
'This ones ok how much I owe you Taff', 'Nothing he says, you can have that'.'As one of my boys'.
Nice one Taff, as I remind him of our 30yr reunion next year.
Exit one Red Faced Jenny.
Hope its not one of our users wives, lol.

Aye Sunman 8) .

PS, Yorkie, Thanks again for making the trip to Torquay it was really good
to see you again and have you marching next to me instead of shouting
at me as was the last time at passout 29yrs ago. Cheers Mate.
See you in Feb.

I can do him an A3 laminated one if he wants! I can send you the Jpeg and you can print it out in A4 for him... send me a Tony and we can sort something out. The Jpeg file is big so it will take a while for the email to come down unless you are broadband.

Sunman, it probably will, as well as working 80 hrs a week, I`m trying to sort out the calendar, with help from Rotary and Sticky, and the Xmas raffle, which i think now will be held in the new year, BUT, I`ll pen some letters this weekend, and try and blag our way into some RAF establishment, UNLESS, we hold it in TENERIFE
