ps. any advice at all for when im down there? any extras to take which aint on the kit list

the first thing is dont give up week 1 is shit, you will just be doing loads of paperwork, week 2 is basically the same - so just stick the first 2 weeks out and you will start to enjoy it more!

stay on top of ya kit and it will go past a breeze!

Oh and good luck, enjoy it and make as many friends as possible!

Remember to goto Raleigh UPO once you get there and ask for a sea-time chit to claim your time on the Torpoint Ferry on the way. In my day it was about £2.50 but could be added to future sea service or paid there and then.

I didnt take any porn as I trapped a wren in the new joiners block over a can of pepsi near the automat. Then when I joined Oliver division I trapped another one. My PO caught me at it in the heads , in fairness he thought I was cracking one off but when she walked out from the cubicle with me he was at first shocked then I got a thumbs up.

Oh the joys of mixed training. RNH Plymouth had mixed accom....farking great drills!!!!!!

there was a lad when i joined that always used to abuse himself in the heads and always used to moan before he shot his baby juice anyway I and my oppo decided to take the piss when he was in the bogs and when he started moaning we shouted at him to think about his mum and his dad at it then we left sharpish! I never heard of him using our heads again!!! those were the days!
