It doesn't change really mate, I did a PRMC 2 years ago and people now are doing exactly the same stuff i did. There is ONLY two differences that ive noticed. Reading Daveb's prmc report it seems they now might do Unarmed combat aswell on the second evening, also the newest thing is this pre-PRMC course if you fail by a short margain. I think this is a brilliant idea to be honest...... Its sometimes hard preparing for PRMC at home and i think 4 weeks in the whole lympstone environment would sort you out in terms of mental preparation and obviously physicle, good luck anyway mate, dont forget to let us know how you got on :D

The pre PRMC course Known as PRMDC (D is for development) might not be around much longer as they only ran two courses on a trial, one lot where retaking their prmc at the same time i did it and the other course was sheduled for the end of feb, so i wouldn't hold your breath on having it as a back up.

gym work (cross trainer, rower, pullups etc) - 5-6 times a week
hill sprints (takes about 40 seconds to sprint from bottom to top, 5-6 times) - 1-2 times a week
pressups, situps (as many as I can do) - 4-5 times a week
2.5 mile run (about 17 minutes) - 2-3 times a week

question for anyone who's done a PRMC, what do you wear, say to dinner, or to a lecture? Do you have to wear your ''shiney's'' all the time when your not in PT kit or dont they mind you wearing jeans/T-shirt etc?

They tell you what to wear when you get there but for me it was shirt and tie to arrive in and for interview, the rest of the time was casaul civvys: smart jeans, t shirt and trainers, no jackets or hooded jumpers for dinner though

Well im sure you will do just fine, if your put in 100% you should do and determination can take you alot further than you might think. so just dig in and keep on moving. its only two days of phys so keep that in mind and then once your in make a point of training more often for when you start training.

Good Luck
