Hi all, i have recently applied for the Navy (first interview on 21st Feb)and have a few questions.

1. What sort of questions are you asked on the first interview?

2. Im quite confused about the amount of career choices, i have the qualifications to apply for officer but there seems to be more choice as Ratings?

3. One of the questions i was asked was how much debt i had. I haven't had the best credit record due to a long drawn out affair with a high street bank. Would this adversely effect my entry.

The interview will just be about you mate, Who you live with, your interests, previous jobs or team activities etc. You cant really prepare for the personal questions, Just answer them honestly and you'll be fine. I'll leave the debt for somebody else to reply who knows about it... But im guessing how it affects your application process would probably depend on how much debt your in. Best of luck.
