Hi all,
Well in new zealand last night on channel one there was a reality tv show hosted by ex-sas members, it was about 40 or so civvys going thru a mock sas selection run by ex sas guys, they are only doing a 10 day course, but the sas guy said it is damn close to effort required to get thru real sas selection, of course 85% of these ppl were about 4 hours or so behind the required times at rv on on the long drag...wasnt a bad show really, its on again at 9:50 monday tv1 for all you kiwis out there.

theres about 3 series of that...Jungle, Desert, and just a ''normal'' one
theres also 'SAS survival secrets' done by the same poeple (Eddie Stone etc) which is also pretty interesting

I have never seen any of those programes. Am i missing much?

The only thing i have seen is one episode of catching chris ryan or whatever its called. It was the one set in artic conditions where he nearly died.

yeah thats a good'en too....theres about 4 of them as well, and theres the ''toughest families in britain' where families of 4 of all ages try to attempt royal marines training....was hilarious lol...especially when they put a 20lb rock in a 10yr old's bergen

i looked at the TV listings and it doesnt mention anything about the SAS are you tough enough series

They've been on before you'll have to keep an eye out for re-runs.

yeah ive seen the normal one, the desert one and the Jungle one, but im still waiting on the Arctic one coming on

UKTV People...its finished now but they might run one of the other series
