What is the current position regarding laser eye surgery?
Is there a timeframe after surgery were the eye surgery is not a consideration?
My son ,currently doing basic; is considering an army air corp career.

When i had my 2nd interview in July when i told them i was considering having it and the Staff SGT told me allthough they dont stop you from having it they look down on it as its still fairly new and can knacker up your night vision.

They will only allow people who have had lasic, but she said they do eye tests more frequently on you once you have had it.

O and the Air corp has higher standards for unaided eyesight than other regiments for some reason, dont know what it is though.
