How much money???

I start foundation on monday, the kit list says take down £30 for extra things. where as my careers office say i should take about £100. how much do you think i should take??

Hi mate,
Hmmm.....I'm not sure.....I'd prob take quite a lot, as I spend £20 on 3 days on my PRMC in that Spar shop buying locozade and chocolate for energy! hehe

Depends what you're taking down with you, to be honest. You build up kit gradually, in the first few weeks it is really only odds and ends you need to buy; bear in mind that (depending on your start date) you get loaned up to £210 before your first payday to cover costs. Any extra cash you do have you'll piss up the wall at the weekend anyhow! Personally I wouldn't take much cash, but have some available in the bank in case you need it (there's cash machines on camp).

Take £100 if you haven't got a cash card of some descrpition because you will need it.
