The twat is the special guest presenter on TalkSPORT (1089MW) tonight from 10pm till 1am, no doubt doing the SAS hero thing to the full.

I gotta give it to McNab. The guy managed to raise the whole public opinion of the SAS from being a bunch of supermen to being normal soldiers expected to perform extraordinary tasks. Read stuff from the time of the famous embassy siege and you'd think they were some sort of james bond ninja type.
B20 for all its faults (im sure theres truckloads of them but i werent there) does help you understand that at the end of the day they were all a bunch of fairly normal guys. All the banter and the sh*t talking helps present them as just normal people. None of the 'we are warrior' stuff that US special forces seem to love so much.

I heard a bit of his show in my bed last night before I fell asleep (there I was all snuggled up awaiting Ian Collins to entertain me and along came Andy).
Anyway, like I said, I didn't catch too much of the show but did have the misfortune of having to listen to someone ring up and say, "Andy, what was it REALLY like to be tortured and stuff?"
Do we have a shaking head smilie?

Tab, from 10pm through the night, TalkSport moves away from the sport element and concentrates on the talk. Tends to be about current affairs, listener phone ins etc.
