The British justice system finaly see's sense. As far as i see it, you should be allowed to dish out a good kicking to someone breaking into you're house

I agree that every man or woman has the right to protect their property especially after repeated attempts to break in. But this highlights the fact that the British judicial system is selective. Poor Tony ? spent months in jail and ended up losing what he fought to keep - his farmhouse and livliehood and respect for other human beings.

I think the Judge Andrew Hamilton and Mr Faulkner deserve a medal.
Some sense from the judicial system at last.

About time the UK stopped being so Liberal!
Never been Burgled housewise but some dick did break into my shed and got laid out by half a dozen flatirons which were on a top shelf drying. Seems he didnt know that the Artist is crap at DIY and when he put his hand on the shelf it gave way and the flatirons landed on his bonce laying him out!
Coppers where in tears of laughter when they saw him. Would be Burglar was found knocked out and covered in black paint (all 5 litres of said paint had also been on the shelf) and tastefully decorated Flatirons. It made my farking day it did.

In many states in the U.S., a homeowner has the absolute right to kill an intruder. I think that's a good policy, although I would add a clause permitting the homeowner to bill the perpetrator's estate for the costs of cleaning the walls and carpet.

Not when the plod is 45 minutes away and you have already been injured and had to resort to deadly force to save your and/or your families life.
More often than not we arrive just in time to call the Coroner and write the report.
Sad but true,Guns are an effective way to deter both invasive and personal assaults on law abiding citizens.
I know that this has been stated before but in this part of the planet
"Guns Save Lives"
"Book him Dano,Murder One"

Hey Wholley, I agree, blow the intruder away. Better yet since the assault weapons ban expired I think I may fix a bayonet on the scatter gun. Run the intruder through and blast him off.
Clean the walls? Snyder is nuts, the stains will amke for years of prideful discussion.
