Alrite guys, had a search and checked out the training diary, good stuff but a bit old now some of it.
Could anyone who is in trg or has just gone through it give me some up to date advice. Due to start foundation shortly, wondering about what phys i can expect, the pace of things, what happens your first couple of days, how the days are broken up with lectures, etc. anything you think a nod should know.... One question is whats the score on radios/cd players, personal locker space?
cheers

Try a search for posts by Dan or Danny, they are both recent CTC vets.

you only have a little foot locker on your foundation to put your civvies in. besides you dont actually need that much stuff in foundation. Dont worry about the phys its not hard at all..

Rite Tabber (Yomper at this stage dont you think?

)
Cd players ,posters etc you wont have time for in foundation maybe a MP3 or something to while away the time Ironing but I suggest you dont even bother as foundation is the time to get to know your oppos and standing with headphones on is just anti-social!
Back to cd players etc, its down to your trainning team some troops are allowed them at wk3 ,my troop waited till wk16! Coolest thing alot of nods buy are those portable dvd players always seem to end up watching them in the heads

im just using my mini disk for the train journey and maybe r&r if someone is snoring etc...although i am taking ear plugs also!
one disk can hold 68 songs so its not to bad, no real need for more than one disk!
Its the only accessory i am taking to foundation and it proberly wont even leave the foot locker once down there!
as MatthewL said, its a time to socialise and know one another, know a few lads who are going down already so thats one might phuck off bonus if you ask me! takes some of the pressure off already!
cheers, Davo
