Hi,
The release date for this film in the uk is 9th july. There was an article in one of our nation news papers today which said that he twists the truth for sensationalism, much like his other film, Bowling For Columbine. I find his working interesting but something irritates me about him.

Well I think all UK citizens should see it 'cause ya'll have a stake in this thing too. I've seen it and kinda thought where Blair fit in.

I've seen it and it is quite shocking some of the stuff that is reported such as Bush doing nothing when he was told of the terrorist attack on 9/11 and him having links with the Bin Laden family. I think this will help in bush not serving another term as US President, but it doesn't mean i belive it. For all i know it could be just a bunch of over exaggerated shit, it was boring as well.

Theres alot of truths and untruths in it, same as Bowling for Colombine. But overall, I like Micheal Moore. Just take him with a slight pinch of salt.

Michael Moore is a very clever, if slightly obnoxious, person. He has the right idea about politics, and although he doesn't voice his knowledge in the most appropriate way some of the time, he successfully brings the subject to the attention of today's short attention span audience.

Anyone read his book, Stupid White Men (I think Bowling for Columbine was based on it?)??

I'm reading "Dude Where's My Country" at the moment. The intro is a little brash, but on the whole it looks good.

Moore's books and movies have been soundly trashed here.
Not just by the"Huge Right Wing Conspiracy"either.A lot of democrats are
keeping their distance and even the notoriously liberal New York Times
gave his latest attempt to discredit Bush an extremly poor review.
Of course, the increasingly insane Al Gore believed every minute of it.
After the debacle at Columbine(which imho could have been ended by an armed teacher)He picketed the local K-Mart to"Save the Kids"By not
selling hand gun ammo. What? They used rifles. But Moore knew that a rifle ammo ban would'nt fly in a hunting state.K-Mart caved, maximum publicity for Moore, who was already planning a"Shockumentary"
He tried the same scam in my home state and got told to f*ck right off.
No free publicity for the likes of him down here, even the local ABC affiliate would'nt touch it.
I'll stop now as I feel my blood pressure rising,
if any one is really interested in this fat liar,pm me,I have scads of
interesting info on the self seeking prat.
Wholley.

Hear! Hear! He is a fat, stupid, self-aggrandising git with no brain, integrity or sense of humour. Cramming your 'shockumentary' shite with total lies and fabrication cannot be passed off as a sense of irony no matter how much the beared bloater tries. He should machine-gun himself or at least let me do it.
