Hey guys. New to adding to the forum but have been reading on and off for the past couple of months.

Some kid shouted, "Run forest, run" at me while i was running last night, this is the fourth time this has happened in the past 2 months. So i decided to hold a poll to see if this happened to other people or just to me!!!

Also if anyone has or can think of some witty reply that i can shout back at them that would be most appreciated!

Happens to me sometimes - I give 'em the finger and carry on running. I'd like to see them keep up.

hehe its funny you should mention it. i get it as well all the time as well as plenty of other abuse from obese little kids. I usually just ignore them but one day i think i may snap and beat 7 shades out of a gang of the little rascals

Someone shouted at me the other day: "You can stop now, they already caught him!". Well, that in dutch anyway. Thought it was pretty funny.

It does happen but if you turn around and run at them they stop and run for their lives. Little bastards.

I never had that happen to me actually. Perhaps a little town of 15000 folks is different in Canada compared to the same in England. Well, I suppose I will find out in a month.

But you can't let those sort of things bother you. Would you rather be an obese f**ker, or a fit one joining the RM? Not a choice I have to deliberate much on, lots of laugh!

What I like to do for a joke is run up to people , tap them on the shoulder and go "Tig - your it" and carry on running

Get it all the time, just don't react to them!

Have had a few try to show me they can run better than me. They start running along side, and i just slowly turn up the pace.

It's hillarious watching them blow up after a few hundrad meters and i'm only just reaching my 5 minute mile pace.

Had one lad throw up he was trying so hard to keep up, he didn't look to good to his mates when he stopped

Yeah, I've had various bits of abuse but I've occasionally had people cheering me on too, at least it makes the run more interesting.

On my 3 mile route I run past a common where there are always these teenagers hanging around. Everytime I run past it they clap and shout motivational chants at me. It always brings a smile to my face.

These days the kids are too stoned to notice anyone running past them. Used to get 118-118 shouted at me. No harm by it though. Only the twats who think its good to try and trip you up or throw things at you that does my head in.

It does'nt bother me unless they are being really rude, in such cases
I stop and say:
"You might want to try this, you might be able to satisfy your missus Then!"- soon shuts then up good and proper.........

God!?!? I've never had that before, I got (from a fat builder) get the bus its faster , my reply being, not in this country it isn’t, seemed to confuddle him a bit, but most of my routes are through forests, or generally out of site by the public, I can also choose the best time to run when the streets are clear, being a "lazy student type"
