Today postmen in leicester have been banned from wearing yellow ribbons
they are allowed however to wear "war is murder" badges
this sort of thing beggars belief and makes me so angry

Haven't heard about this one, could you provide a bit more detail?
The logic of banning the wearing of one sort of emblem while allowing others with a political slant escapes me.
Doesn't surprise me though; it will be illegal to wear poppies next.

Now that would be insanity... I for one would refuse to abide by and pathetic law enforcing this and so would many others. I'd like to hear more details about the yellow ribbons as well.

i'm from leicester and i can believe it. perfect expample of what is going to happen to the rest of the country. makes me glad i got the hell out of the sh*thole.
