Been browsing the site for a few weeks and finally had a question so I thought I'd join and post it.
Thanks

Hello,
Maybe, Have a lot of things to sort first and have to decide wether or not to leave what I thought was my dream job. I've worked for 5 years to get to where I am, and now I'm here it ain't all its cracked up to be...
Got a lot of serious thinking to do over the next year and thought this would be a great place to get some serious insight and advice.

Hi Hayes.
Hope you can find what you need here. I was unsure but after a month here I am sure of what I want to do with my life (RM).

Well, I do all sorts. I've done pots to teddy bears. I've spent the last 8 months or so refining my trade and now work soley in the wargaming industry. Bassically I take a two part epoxy putty, mix it together, push it around and around 10 hours latter ( and much swearing ) you have a perfectly formed little man around 1" tall
For those who know a bit about toy soldiers I've worked for companies like Games Workshop and Wargames Foundry but am currently freelance. I'm just about to start a range, if all goes well, of 20mm tall WW2 figures.
Whilst its a great job where I get to be creative all day long it just seems like it really makes no difference. I don't know yet if the military is the way forward but I thought I'd best start finding out. I have endless patience, after 5 years of being told you aren't good enough your skin gets pretty thick and you either give up or you win.
I've beat this challenge

, but I need a new one. I've got a couple of questions but I'll post them in the relevant sections.

I'm kind of the same, in the respect that you have spent 5 years doing Sculpturing. I have spent 6 years doing web design, and sitting behind a desk for the rest of my life does seem such a good idea any more

. So i'm looking for a change of scenery and you can't get more of a change then from a web designer to the military.
