Gay question.

Hello folks. I’m thinking about joining the navy but there are one or two things on my mind.
Are there a lot of gay men in the navy? I’m worried about this as I am not gay. Would I be picked on or would any gay men try anything on with me?
Also, when you tell people that you are in the navy do they automatically presume that you are gay?
I am not gay, I have nothing against gay people at all.

Glasgow, they`re everywhere mate, don`t let them wear you down, get rid of the pussers tie up shoes, and buy some slip ons, also ditch the ordinary soap, and purchase some soap on a rope, that way, if you drop it, you ain`t got to bend over
always keep yer back to the bulkhead as well, and don`t forget to sleep with one eye open, if you make it past day one, your home and dry.

i have nothing against gay people. but would they try it on with none gay people?
like is every1 in the navy gay?

ask yourself that question, is everyone in the navy gay, would you be? I think once they notice you have all the anti-gay kit, they won`t bother you. you could also try putting empty beer cans/milk bottles etc around your pit at night, joined together by para cord, that way, if you do happen to drop off, you`ll hear them coming....................in more ways than one? :flirt:

Seriously though why does everyone think that if you're joining or in the navy you must be gay? The amount of times I've heard that bloody song I swear the next time I see a red indian dressed as a sailor I'll kill 'im!

I can't say I have any first hadn experience of the RN, but I sincerely doubt homosexuality can be the rule, why on Earth would it? However, even if it was I would expect it wouldn't pose any problems if you were the only straight bloke, it would be a very sorry state of affairs indeed if everyone couldn't get along with each other. If you want to join the Royal Navy then do it, and don't learn your facts from the YMCA

seriously, is the navy full of gay people? I'd b cool if there was a few gay people, but i dont wanna be a only straight bloke.
