Avatar help please

Ok I’m really stupid when it comes to computers, I know how to play games and email and that’s it. I’ve been looking for a pic to go under my name for a while now but it keeps saying it has to be a jpg or something like that and I cant find them
does anyone know where to look for these mysterious things...
Please help as it’s getting really annoying now!!!

What kind of pic do you want Lew ? Whatever you choose, it has to be a gif or a jpg. My one is an animated gif.
It is a little fussy about what you do choose though as per the message in profile settings "Displays a small graphic image below your details in posts. Only one image can be displayed at a time, its width can be no greater than 80 pixels, the height no greater than 80 pixels, and the file size no more than 12 KB."
Go to
http://www.google.co.uk/imghp?tab=wi&q= ... l=en&meta= and type in what you want; ie. Dog, Cat, Football, Sexy Lady and see what you come up with, or do as I did and proff. it off someone elses website

Just out of curiosity, did anyone notice Chesty's new Avatar?
