Well Im only 3-4 KG more @ 5ft 8 so I'll give you an example of what I ate yesterday, I doubt it will help, but Im bored.
3 Weetabix for Breakfast @ 5:15am
Sausage sandwich @ 9:00am from our work canteen
Banana @ 11:00
Finished work at 2:00pm, got home and had a Big bowl of Pasta with a Tin of Tuna and low fat Mayo

I fink I am quite skinny but i cant be 'that' skinny or id be way underweight. I need to build my upper body strength up a lot tho hence the weights.
You heard of that free 3 day course you can go on in Pitbright, Surrey (the taster for the coldstream guards). I was readin sum old posts and found it by Statistic I think. Might be worth going to.

Ash mate, honestly the best thing I can say to you for a 5 month training plan is to aim for your PRMC targets; 60 press-ups, 85 sit-ups, 8 pull-ups (to be safe), 3miles in 20 mins and work on your sprinting. Yes, weight training will 'build you up' but I promise you that you don't need to be bulky and muscly to pass the PRMC and Commando Training, you need to be fit and strong.
I spent a lot of time down the gym recently and although i've found i've filled out a bit, when it comes to real tests of strength (ie. Press-ups) my numbers haven't really improved. Your best bet is to work on your current affairs and interview technique so you come across to your Careers Advisor as a mature and well adjusted young man, to stick with PRMC training (after all Specificity is a basic key to succesful training) and to just eat healthily. An extra tin of tuna a day is all the extra protein you'll need if you're eating a well balanced diet. Don't scrimp off the kebabs now and again either, they're full of wonderful body-building fat and protein

Thats exactly what I thought dan. I had my first interview and it went sumwhat badly. Theres a whole topic bout it lol. He said I won't need another Interview before a PRMC but an informal chat. He said that at the moment I have the qualities of a 16 year old (I am 16 lol) and in the 6 months hes putting me on hold to build these up. He told me to train and ge a full-time job which will help me gain sum more maturity and confidence. The thing that struck me was when he said I needed to put some 'bulk' on. I mean I was doing well on my PRMC training (only 4 weeks into training at time of interview). My upper body was coming on and I could run 3 mile in under 20 mins quite easily. The fitness programme I'm doin is mainly CV work and works up to excellent fitness. If I do get my PRMC I will have over prepared for my fitness so will give me more of a chance of passing and a head start in my training for the 30 weeks (if i pass the PRMC). At the end of the day I'm not entirely glad with how things went but I am 16 and I see his point. I am glad however that I wasn't rejected

He also said that in the end he doesn't fink i'll make it "cos I haven't got the look in my eyes of the kind of person that could become a lean, mean fighting machine". I thought that was a load of bull cos u can't tell some1s determination and strength of mind by a look in their eyes. Wat was I mean to do stare at him evilly for the 40 mins (
). He said he thinks I would better suited for the RN and he said in the end he thought i would end up there. He then said at the end of the day its my choice (at this moment in time in m head i thought "Dam Right its my choice!!"). I think that he says this because I did get good GCSE results (2 A's 4 B's and 4 C's) and I haven't really done anything recorded or academically fitness based but that doesn't mean I arent determined and wont train as hard as ne1 else. If it does and I'm being a total idiot tell me and I'll quit now.

He was a Chief Petty Officer from the Navy. I know this sounds ignorant of me but I think he saw the entrance level as a Royal Marine as 'God' like. Don't get me wrong you have to be made of the right stuff to make it through training but as I've heard from current marines 'you dont have to be super fit on joining'. It did feel a bit like he was trying to push me away from the RM towards the RN.

Won't I be in an AFCO database system where all the offices can access the same info? I think at the end of the day tho this 6 months will do me good. If I go back fighting fit and have worked for 6 months and he says he doesnt fink its rite for me I'll ask for the PRMC still and if I don't get one i'll go to a different AFCO then. The fing that strikes me is a friend of mine that hasn't worked for ages, isn't mature and is the same build/strength as me passed his test, interview and medical without a problem. I think he went to the same AFCO but had a different CPO.
Guy's......
Please dont forget, "you can be fit as a butchers dog but its Strength of Mind that there looking for" Anyone can get fit! Yes even Rick Waller! but you have to have the strength of mind in you....... see what I mean

The only thing that stops your body before you pass out is your mind. Never give in!
