Can anyone tell me what is the monthly rate of pay if you are, over 18 /under 18 on joining the Royal Marines.

Pay is a figment of your foolish youthful imagination. YOU donate cash to them, it's not bribery or even slush funds, more like insurance. You wouldn't want anything nasty to happen to you would you now.

And don't think about complaining, last bloke who did that was sent to the Paras, wasn't pretty, not pretty at all. 8)

Mickstar,

I think its about £10778 when joining and £12577 when trained up (over 18s)
Ncos are where the (semi) decent money is.

Of course, if your joining the marines your real money will come from the 22 year modeling contract with the "Sun". That and fishing/sight seeing boat trips in the rigid raiders etc.

Tony you and I know that not many tourists want to go on walking tours of the perimeter wire of little known Norfolk airfields; there's a far greater danger of them getting lost, and all the Apes have to do is keep the wire on their right!
