xmas leave

i have just been given my joining date on the 26th november and was wondering if there will be a xmas break during it?

From what ive heard you will get a bit of leave for xmas if your just doing you basic training. Thats just what ive heard im not 100% my bro-inlaw was telling me when he joined he got time off but that was the army.

Recruit training wing usually have xmas off so look forward to a rail pass and some time off...you will be ready for it...

You should get 2 weeks - most likely December 20th to January 4th (ish), but don't quote me.

Don't expect that to happen once you're out of training either!

My brother in law was at RTS over the Xmas break when he joined.

He got 2 weeks of, make sure mate you batter the phys whilst on leave or that 1 extra mince pie n bottle of beer will make life hell when you get back ;-)

well i guess il be lookin 4ward 2 a beer free xmas and new year the lol

I was an IGDT Rock for 6 years and I can absolutely guarantee you that under NO circumstances will the training staff work over the holiday period!!

Go home, open pressies, eat, drink and make merry for you may well be in a sandy place for the next one!
