I recently failed to disclose an unspent motoring conviction and signed the rehabilitation act forms. I didnt disclose it because I thought motoring conviction didnt count. However I did tell the recruiter and they wernt to sure either so I went ahead and signed it. Now my formal interview has been cancelled and they want me to come in for a chat. Anyone now if this will be more barred from the armed forces till the conviction is spent. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

I don't know the answer, suppose it could depend what the motoring conviction was.
Be honest with them, say you thought it never had to go onm you asked a recruiter and they thought so too, so you never put it on. It was an unfortunate mistake and misunderstanding, one that wouldn't have been made if the situation was clearer. Obviously if the recruiter didn't know either the situation was clear as mud!
