The Major at the end "We are gender free, age free, class free"

Really? You mean women can join sir?

He doesn't properly know what gender means, 'cos I haven't seen any women in the Paras :D

However, I'd guess he's refering to HBT individuals - which isn't gender it's sexual inclination and identity.

That's cool 8) fair play to him for having a go but he did look gutted (not) about not having to do the Trainasium. I remember Elvis Gordon (British Olympic judo player) coming to CTC to try out a few of the 'activities' and the look on his face when he picked up a properly weighted fighting order after watching young bits of skin zipping around the bottom field like leaping gazelles (well, not quite  ).

However, being able to have a go and being capable of passing are obviously two different things. As far as I'm aware, no female has ever even got through the beat-up phase, correct me if I'm wrong Sandy.

When women complete P-Coy, what do they use their new-found skills for as I had no idea that women did Combat Parachuting?

The women who attempt P Company do so through the All Arms Course and would come from the Support Arms and if they were successful then they would simply join 16 Air Assault Brigade in whatever capacity they're trained for ie; signaller, medic, blanket stacker or whatever................ They wouldn't actually join the Parachute Regiment.

London Boy, Sandy already answered that question in the posts he made before you asked it.
