Hi guys,

Did my BARB test today, scored 63 which I presume is ok. Reading through this site has been helpful. However, I'll very much appreciate any response from ladies for my burning questions regarding what to expect and maybe some girl talk if possible.

Feminine hygene products? What colour bra am I wearing? Thrush?

Loads of stuff matey! Anyway would like to know what challenges females face and how they counter these challenges. By the way, personal hygiene I suppose should be the same anywhere. I'd also like any information/tips that a civilian female aspiring to join the army should know.

Have you not asked at your AFCO? If they are all men i'm sure they'll put you in touch with someone who could answer your questions. Besides that I can't help, sorry

I haven't asked yet, just have this feeling that I will get more information in forums like this than from AFCO if you know what I mean. But yeah thats a good point, once I pass my medical, I will definately ask them. Meanwhile, we'd do better with more female participants on this forum don't you think so?!

This is the reason we need more ladies on here! Breakfast will always win over tasty pics i.e. maintaining focus
