know there's been quite a lot of posts on joining as a diver, am 22 and doin goin to be working in Spain doing diving for the 3rd year, want to join up as a CD, will having my certificates ensure me a fast-track entry or will I have to wait??? Anyone tell me what's the usual wait from joining applying at the AFCO to actually in for CD branch??

Tony Groom here, I spent 10 years in the branch and loved it. But. . as for what is required now I'm unsure. I could find out if you wish, I still have some contacts in the branch.

As usual, AFCO will fill you full of shi, er, sorry meant to say, "are very helpfull, so why not ask them?"
