Hello all,
I have joined the forum to ask for your help.
My dad is an ex Royal Marine. He was in the Radfan campaign in Aden and was involved with the gentlemant featured on the recent BBC programme.
He is currently away in Bermuda (attending their rememberance parade amongst other things!) He asked me to record the programme for him, but my recorder failed. I am trying to get a copy of the documentary for him before he comes back.
I have contacted the BBC and they do not intend to repeat it. I have contacted the company who made it (Reef films) and they haven't replied. I have tried Virgin cable replay but it isn't featured. I have asked at work but no-one taped it....
Can anyone out there help? Did you record it, can you get me a copy? Do you know where I can get a copy? I can send a DVD or video or cash to cover any costs....
If you reply to this post with any advice or help I would be very grateful as will my dad be.
Kind regards and respect to you all
Tracy

Tracy, welcome aboard 8)
Don`t panic Mister Mainwaring
Firstly, your Dad isn`t an "ex Marine" there is no such thing. 8)
There are only Former or Serving.
Where abouts in West Mids are you, because there are many Branches of the Royal Marines Association in your area who will be only to pleased to assist you.
Tell us what town you live in and I will send you the contact details for the Secretary nearest to your location.
