Well to cut to the point i hope that powell discusses about the fact that when, and i say when this war is over the Yanks don't leave the Brits still over there to clean up all the mess??
I can see this happening. Remarks?

POTUS was long on rhetoric, short on facts. He also has a long way to go convincing people about his mental capacity. He doesn't do himself any favours when staring cross eyed at the teleprompt, missing his line and then asking Dad "Did the boy do good?" Mind you our own drongo should go back to the seminary.
I'm hoping for the sake of the guys and girls on their way to Iraq that Colin comes up with irrefutable evidence about remaining weapons. I reckon if they are there they should start hitting sites ASAP, prompting Saddam to try relocating the others, thereby exposing them for a zapping. Or is that too simplistic? Doh.

Well hopefully Secretary Powell will give some hard proof on Feb. 5.
Falkens-Maybe it's just sheer ignorance on my part but I don't seem to recall The US ever doing that. Conflicts? Dates?

I just think he's concerned that Bush got us into this ride so that he could drop as many bombs and shells as he likes then buzz off pronto, leaving the cleaning up and sorting out to British troops.

USARMY_ .... perhaps you can point me in the direction of all that financial and humanitarian assistance that was promised to the Afganistanies while they were being assisted in changing their their government.
I may be cynical, or incorrect but there seems to be a lack of info on this matter.
If you guys have all this info on Iraq, why the dramatics, why not spill now instead of making the world wait...... or is this the hollywood syndrome again.
Aye
Yo!!!

than maybe you better have a gut check.
US, I was with you most of the way until you typed that. You should be aware that the majority of the people responding to you are former and serving Royal Marines. 'Nuff said.

Rob,
I think USARMY meant that we should have a 'gut feeling' as to what Madman Hussain has got, rather than we haven't any guts! At least I HOPE so!
That said, 'gut feelings' aren't good enough with the stakes as high as they are. Show me the indisputable, unarguable, proof, and then tell me why it requires a full blown war to get rid of whatever is there. The UN should be able to use this proof to get every other nation on board, including the Arab nations.

Rob Parry- Hussain has Blood on his hands. Some times a path of cation can be mistaken as one of cowardice. But alas, there is life in you STILL! So I apologize if you feel I have unjustly question your intestinal fortitude. Now I say to you sir...
" O God of Battles! Steel my soldiers' hearts; Possess them not with fear; take from them now The sense of reckoning, if the opposed numbers shall pluck their hearts from them."
Henry V, Act IV, Scene 1
Derek Blevins- I don't think it would take a full blown war. Iraq isn't capable of fighting a full blown war anyway. Now a few strategic Assassinations, makes me happy. Less colateral damage. However either way I'll due my duty. My children will not be fighting this battle.
