Hi there,

Interested into joining either the Army or the RAF as an Avionics Technician. I was originally joining as Non-Commissioned Aircrew but I decided against it as I wanted something more hands on preferebly electronics based where I can gain a trade and qualifications.
Jusy wondering if anyone out there knew more about the trade as a lot of info I've found is quite vague, also what are the pros and cons if any between going down the Army or RAF route.

Go into your local AFCO and ask the RAF about the job, then another day ask the Army about the job.... which ever one seems more intresting etc go for.
