I a new user of this forum from Denmark. I have 7 years of experience from the danish army. I served mainly at the artillery(M109 driver), and did a tour in Bosnia(2000) and a tour in Afghanistan(2003). In a Afghanistan my unit had a close cooperation with the Gurkha's and it worked out pretty well, in my opinion.
The reason i'm browsing this forum is because the danish army has closen it ties with the british a lot in recent years(Iraq and Afghanistan). So i think it's interesting too see how "big brother" handles it's operation, traning etc...
Btw. there will be gramma and spelling errors in my posts for sure, but i will try too reduce it as much as possible. Cheers..

But i'm not a physicist like Niels Bohr..

I used to enjoy visiting the DANCON lads on the line in Cyprus. They always had an excellent selection of pastries!
Mind you, the SWEDCON lasses were more my cuppa!

Looks like someone is looking after the children while Mary is out doing a bit of soldiering.
