Introduction and questions

Hi everyone at militaryforums.co.uk, very well kept forums from what I've seen in my lurking.
Firstly sorry if I ramble a little I'll try to be as concise as I can with my questions but I need to give a little background. I left college end of last year with A-levels in English language & literature, media, graphic design, critical thinking and psychology and some other mandatory courses. I really did not enjoy college and missed a lot of my last year but with some last minute graft got A's in my exams. I was already becoming aware that I didn't want a career where I would be sitting at a desk all day but simply due to habit and other's expectations I applied for a job at a graphic design company in my town and was told I could start some time towards the end of January. Well here we are in March and without going in to detail, I've been messed about and have essentially been bored senseless for 2 months waiting with no fruition.
I am disappointed as I was looking forward to my first professional job and moving out from my parents and becoming independent, however it's also given me plenty of time to think about what I really want from life and it isn't vocation I'm currently heading towards. This may be the turning point I have needed and therefore have decided to register here and try and do some research.
---End boring bit---
I feel a little over my head with choice to be honest. I am very fit, I workout/run everyday and eat healthily and have never had any problems with authority or following orders.
I've tried searching around but could someone give me an idea of the differences between the Navy, Army and Marines. I also felt drawn to the medical officer/technician roles on the Army careers website if anyone could give me any information or experience on this path I'd enjoy reading your views.
Obviously my minds a little excited with all these new choices but if anyone could give me advice on choosing the next step and which of the Army, Marines, Navy suits who I'll be really grateful.
Thanks for reading if you made it through all that.
