boots-running

I have just got some boots from a surplus store to use on my insight weekend and was wondering if they take time to get used to running in?
I think they are already broken in,but i haven't had much running experience yet and my insight is soon.

They may well be broken in.....but not to YOUR feet!
Never a great idea!
Always,always always break in your own boots, sorry to say it but maybe you should have sorted this bit of admin before now!
