I am seriously worried about a member of these forums who goes by the name of Scotty Mac.

viewtopic.php?p=171729&highlight=#171729

This is because in August I PMed him to ask him if he would make me a copy of the COMMANDO DVD. He replied that he would be getting home early in the next month when he was getting home and he intended to run me off a copy. He was not home because he has been working in Iraq on private security work. I had no reply from him so I PMed him on September 21st regarding the DVD to which I again got no reply which I thought was a bit strange but just assumed that he just wasnt using the forum for one reason or another.

Anyway tonight I was just browsing the once a marine site when I came across a thread about private security work in Iraq. The first line in the thread was 'In light of the Recent Death in Iraq of Mac Macdonald'.

Is this just me putting two and two together and getting five or is there something to this.

Could anyone shed any light on this.

Reading the posts on OAMAAM it is looking very likely im afraid to say. But lets hang on until we get some kind of confirmation.

Bloody well hope not.

Such a sad loss if this is him (which sounds very likely from what he told Graham about himself in PMs).

He was looking to join RMR Inverness Det when he was back home.

It's also horrendously sad that his death only made the news this morning because he had a link to the Beckhams.

Theres hope that it's not him.

The mirror says his initials are M McD... whereas scottys name on this have his initials as S MacM

Mac and Mc are two completely different ways of spelling that kind of name. Not only that but the letters are different.

heres to hoping
