Germans in kilts!!!

Well b*gger me, today i went to a Highland gathering in Peine out here in Germany for the crack with some folk from the British Legion.
Now i am proud of being a jock but i got more Peeved off during the day as hundreds of erics walked by wearing full highland regalia and not a word of jockaneese came from them. .
I kept going up and saying 'Fit a fine accent whit part o Scotland di yea come fae?' only to looked at like a flamin leper 
.
But it wasnt all bad i got loads of discounts on various bits and bobs just because i was the real Mccoy. And the pipe bands believe it or not were quite fantastic, i even got a wee tear in my eye and felt homesick
