Overseas Kit Setups

Hey there fellows, I'm just curious what the Royals are sending chaps overseas with as far as kit goes. Are most running a standard PLCE setup, or do most of the guys go for a custom rig, out of their own pockets? Do any of the Royal run a CIRAS setup? Anything else?
Cheers, Brent

PLCE means personal load carrying equipt and I thought this was an Elmer term, evolved from ALICE or summat, and has fark all to do with our own dear Corps
Yon lad`s a farkin eejit and will never carry a Tesco bag beyond the car park
Anyone got any idea where I can buy some stamina? Or endurance?

In phase 2 were allowed to buy certain gucci items and most of my training team are coated in gucci gear from head to toe, i'm guessing alot guys take their own gear with them.

Lots of laugh Artist, yes, harry has the right idea. I'm refering to what kind of gear guys are going onto current operations with. Sorry about the acroyms Artist, I wasn't trying to confuse the shit out of you.
I'm a "Gear Whore," that's why I'd like to know. As for what CIRAS stands for - "Combat Intigrated Releasable Armor System," more or less a plate carrier. I know our ultra-special, ultra-loved, world police (americans) seen to like to use them, and the guys in the Canadian Army are going to Afghanistan with them; but our soldiers have to pay for them out of their own pockets. I was just wondering what kind of boat the Royals were in as far as kit goes.
Thanks for the input CrouchmasterT...

Them Canooks`ll need their plate armour in the Stan, given Elmer`s track record with blue on blues, blue. Specially when their fast jet drivers "feel the need, the need for
Speed"
Any HW rates tell me what HALFABEC stands for? I was asleep that day
