I'm not quite sure yet but I think I might be starting on this date aswell. I've been waiting 5 months for my security clearance and i'm hoping it will be done any time now. They are just waiting on one final check apparently.

canuck680, you better make sure you stop off in South London before heading to CTC so that Afro-Carribbean barber shop can give you a nice haircut again, I think it only cost us 2.95 for that cut. HIGH AND TIGHT. Speak to you soon bro.

I dunno canuck, I thought you came back home for the "Fat Pig Saloon?" I ended up at City Limits the other night, another one of your fave spots. Did you know that Randy and Leahy were there for their live show in early December, I am so choked I missed it. Also the next week Vanilla Ice was there, what a classy establishment. I've even been to a Canuck game and a Canada vs. Finland world junior championship game. I'll give you a shout before I head back. Later buddy.

Hey dude, I get pre-deployment leave in March so I'll come down south and visit you. You should be getting weekends off by that point anyway. Post up your phone number, I managed to lose my cell phone so all of my numbers are gone. BYO White Star. Later.

Well not long to go now. I've got all my kit organised and am about to pack it all. Starting to get a little anxious when ever i start to think about it all but i'm ready to get stuck in.
Me and the canuck and another fella in our troop went out the other night and had a good piss up. Looks like we'll be 914 troop and apparantly we'll be the first troop in the newly refurbished foundation centre which is nice.
Anyway just before I go I'd like to say thanks to all the helpful posters on the site. The knowledge i got off here has been priceless and has been a big help so thank you. Also, cheers to Beast for running and maintaining the site, i'll be sure to throw in a donation when i finally get some money mate.
