Souvenirs
Souvenirs
I remember reading somewhere that while on operations if you take something off someone (e.g. a gun off a surrendering/dead insurgent in iraq) your allowed to keep it (and in the case of the gun have it deactivated)
Is that true or would it be regarded as stealing, which is what I thought it would be?
Unfortunately I cant remember where I read it.

There was an op plunder before we left Iraq so all gizets had to be handed in especialy weapons but personaly i dont understand why you would want an AK on your wall above the mantle- peice.

I was just thinking that It would be a good secondary income, people pay alot for deactivated guns, so get 2 or 3 with no expense to yourself, sell them for 2-3 hundred each (or even 1 hundred) and youve got a decent bit of spare change.Shrek The Royal wrote:There was an op plunder before we left Iraq so all gizets had to be handed in especialy weapons but personaly i dont understand why you would want an AK on your wall above the mantle- peice.
Also other stuff you could find could come in handy or be valuable so £££
