For some strange F**king reason, the closer to my joining the navy the more mature I have become. Talking about innuendo an stuff with some faceless people on an obscure internet message board just dosen't give me a kick anymore.

As for this gay issue ummmm there are very few gays down here at raleigh and the ones who are gay dont get any shit ... None of the gays down here have tried to come onto me... but then im not gay so i really couldnt tell you but dont worry theres loads of guys down here always going out on the pull for women so you should be fine.

This thread made me laugh. It's too stupid a question to be offended by it...
I've met countless Navy guys, my Dad was in the Navy for 21 years, my best mate was married to a MEM matelot, and I can honestly say not one of the men I've talked to was gay. Quite a few alcoholics, and one memorable alcoholic wife-beater, but certainly no gays.

its all Village People's fault (only one of them was actually gay i believe)
i think they would let you know if they were bum monkeys by dropping you subtle hints in navy terms..
example: i think its time HMS PinkShaft docked with Port BrownVille
