Two points.
1) The lady who was freed from captivity today shows how desperate is the existence of any prisoner, of either sex when in the hands of maniacs.
2) Girls/ladies have operated undercover for years. They do so successfully; the battlefield is a different ball game. Apart from the danger there is the pure bloody physicality of the daily grind.
Recent TV documentaries are all very well for Joe Public's Sunday viewing, the reality far exceeds our imaginations.

if women get captured in combat in places like iraq or other middle eastern countries where women are treated differently, they would certainly not treated nearly as "nicely" as men do. McNabs experience would seem like a trip to the salon.

Some of the most successful snipers in the VietCong were women, and they actually went out of their way to use a woman sniper in preferance to a man if they could.

Apparently they found that they could concentrate better and had less remorse or concern for the target.

I can't see a problem, providing that they complete the same tests as a man and carry the same loads. In to many cases exceptions are made for them which then brings down to whole unit to farce.

women in front line fighting is a big concern for me as i dont think they have the nessercery body strength or ability to fight equaly as a man.
which would also create some major problems. but as far as women in the sas i dont think that sould ever be allowed!!! there are things that men can do that women cant and vice versa... i dont think they would bebabe to hack it physicaly or mentaly there are just some jobs that women shouldnt do and im afraid this is one of them

sorry forgot one more thing, i was reading one of your earlier posts toni and you might be able to do karate and beat some of the school boys at press ups but at the end of the day they are only school boys!!!

apart from the obvious sexual reasons why the armed forces should remain male only there is also the reason of protection, being male i couldnt not help a injured or dieing woman in any situation let alone combat and ill think youll find 99% of men will agree there, women would end up getting alot of men killed and there would be alot of failed missions because of this
