Having read and reread this discussion, I find it amazing that some members of these forums think that theirs is the only opinion that matters. We seem to forget that we all have our own opinions and that others may not necessarily agree with them. I, for one, happen to agree with the death penalty, providing that guilt is proven beyond all reasonable doubt, and I shall make that last point again, proven beyond all reasonable doubt.
I also read the Daily Mail and am a supporter of Maggie Thatcher.
Those are my views. It does not, however, mean that I will resort to effing and blinding to put them across, as seems to be the wont of some members here.

You obviously mean me. Know what? I have some history on this forum. I was blaggarded to within an inch of my life by some fairly 'senior' members a while ago so I am quite protective of my status.
I still feel a litle bit 'got at' three years on. Want to know what was said about me? Check it out with some bugger in the Bunker.

Centurian: "Romans, they go the house?"
Brian: "It says, 'Romans go home!'"
Centurian: "No it doesn't! Conjugate the verb, 'to go'."
Brian: [Latin gibberish]
Centurian (rams wee gay 4 X 2 against wall with sword to throat): "Now write it out a hundred times. If it's not done by sun up, I'll cut your balls off!"
Parallel universe? Far out! I bet he was, like, diagonally parked, man! Heavy!
Apostrophes? See:

What some people do after retirement!!!!!

Mind you, I do like the example at para 2 (4th example down)...
"the bone is in its mouth" I says, "Pardon?" And, while the sentence might be technically correct, isn't "its" a little dehumanizing?
Not to be confused with:
www.killtheapostrophe.com Wherein (quite coincidentally) I also found the "Fark" icon:

Same as you managed to get me 'sorted' on the 'other side.'
That was only three months, mind.
Think I fell off a bloody Christmas tree?

I have no idea what 'sorted' or the 'other side' or 'that was only three months' refers to.
However, be clear about this:
1. I use discussion forums for a bit of lighthearted banter. Most of my posts are laced with at least some humour/tongue in cheek. So don't take them too seriously.
2. I have never made any post intended to directly influence moderators or members of any forums, to take action of any sort, against another member.
3. I usually only use PMs in response to someone else, therefore I am very happy to discuss almost anything in open forum.
Tight lines!
