What kit is this then? CRW vest, MP5, S10, flashbangs and a pair of american tan tights by any chance?

Fcuking hell greenhill I thought i was a thick para but your spelling makes me feel so much better about myself.
You will be wearing issue kit on your basic training with RAF reg by the way, so stop wasting your time stealing from the shop you work in, or Joe publc might punch your head in (or the DS on recruit staff). Your only worries right now should be your personal fitness, because you need to be out there pounding the pavement instead of chitty chat on here. Go and put your trainers on and make your lungs bleed fat boy.

Gnr Greenhill Faraway,
I do believe you are a nice guy really. I knew alot of 'Nice Guys' who joined up but were a bit gobby when they should have just shut up and listened to those who REALLY knew. I used to be one!
I frequently visited the EWS (a big pond for fire fighting purposes) because I just could not learn to shut the fcuk up. Ask any one of the RAF Coppers who know me on this site, they would tell you the same.
Duff Gen is a very dangerous thing, it can get people killed in some circumstances - another thing best learnt before you join up. I would not take ANYTHING in the printed media as gen. The people who run magazines wear suits and Italian shoes, not DPM and boots!
I admire your determination and the fact you are taking time to research the RAF Regt - but select your sources carefully. I have laughed at alot of magazine/internet articles covering topics I know very well. Indeed I would laugh my tits off if something said the RAFP were an elite among Police Agencies! Similarly, RAF Regt, while good at what they do are hardly ranked among the worlds' elite fighting forces.
Good luck, and if you do get to Sunny Hon, I would gladly show you some of the better drinking establishments. (See, I am a nice guy too)

ok greenhill - fair enough.
one last point with the spelling mate - words such as "coz" do not exist outside of some giggling 15 year old schoolgirls text messaging.
spelling may be crap - but dont text speak.
'nuff said

Cheers Doc my other half is ex RAF Med Servs, and I spent 3 eyepopping years posted at ********** with my tongue hanging out.,prior to that for 4 yrs ******** naafi was my playground of choice. We do get some munters in the RAF but the majority of the Medical types seem to duck the swing of the Fugly Stick.
