Yup, you can join when 16, although I think there are restriction as to what postings you can have until you're 18.

I am SO sorry saffer if i have offended 14 year olds i didnt realise you were so into them! but its for their own good, its all very well having dreams at that age thinking if you train hard at that age you will become the hulk but the reality is that your body needs to use the energy it has to grow upwards, if you do weights etc.. at that age your joints dont develope properly and your growth can be stunted, so when you have arthritis at the age of 19 i hope your happy by telling these kids that it does no harm!

Well, I'm another one of these 14 year olds, and to be honest I wish my body wouldn't go up! I'm 6' 4"!!!!!!!!
Anyway, I'm 15 in a few months, and am hoping to apply for the RMR when I hit 17. I've started training already, at least, I'm doing 3-milers twice a week, a bit of cycling and working on upping my press-ups/sit-ups a bit. I do a little weights but not too often so I doubt its had much effect.
But don't worry, I'm not offended.

Im 26 at the moment and I will be 27 in Jan, my body is still holding up to 6 gym sessions and Runs a week, but I must say dont train to hard when you are young(meaning 14), I did and by the time I was 19 I had 9 opertions on my knees. So listen to the advice, please..
I cant wait to re join............
Bring on the fun of sliding down the ropes and having the skin under your arm come off, I cant wait to feel the pain again.

I think they'll throw you into a 'party'.
...just this particular 'party' happens to be the tank.
Or at least I've heard that somewhere.
Best of luck for basic!
