Silas, seriously, send it back if at all possible mate. It's worth spending the extra on Arktis, Berghaus, Blackhawk or whatever.
EDIT - just to point out it's definitely not good idea to turn up to RT toppers with gucci webbing and bergans. But smaller stuff you do need, map cases, document wallets or whatever, better to buy good quality stuff that stands half a chance of coming out the other end still intact

Really good tips on here for all the kit and that I'm saving all the websites so I can go back on them when I need to start buying all my kit and will avoid webtex cheers for that druadan. Those Petzl head torches seem good off rvops lads.

Like I said, RVOps are good if you can't find the same kit anywhere else, but they do tend to be pricey. Just Google 'Petzl headtorch' mate, bet you find it at least a fiver cheaper somewhere else. Or eBay (but not used - LEDs do have a finite life).

those sort of items will be fine. think we are refering to the bergen type copies or important bits of kit like head torches or webbing etc. the build quality isnt so hot when you compare to other brands similar items. my own personal experience wih webtex stuff when i had 'all the gear no idea' was that it was in general heavier, of poorer material and construction and it tended not to be very robust i.e it fell apart. when your in you will pick up ideas of experienced blokes and will tend to follow their mantra of whats hot and whats not.

I'm having trouble processing that in to something I can read, I heard the only good Webtex item was a Map case but they stopped them, not purchased any Webtex from then on.
